Abstract:

A summary of articles published in the journal Population and other INED publications between 1970 and 1981 on abortion and contraception topics is presented. Topics covered include how to measure the number of abortions, public attitudes toward contraception, the need for legislative reform on abortion, the impact of abortion law reform on practices and attitudes, and how French legislation compares with other laws around the world.
